MiniMotives

Macy came up with the idea for MiniMotives back in 2011. The total cost of construction was just over $11,000. Her tiny house sits on top of a 26’ gooseneck trailer. The original design was 196 square feet, but she extended the home to make a room for her daughter, putting the total at 232 square feet.

Macy says that her goal was to create a light and open home, while keeping energy efficiency in mind. For this reason, she opted to use green technologies such as a composting toilet, radiant heat flooring, and energy-efficient appliances.

SimBLISSity Aspen Tiny House

Dot and Byron Fears initially created the SimBLISSity Aspen Tiny House in 2014. They improved upon the design after extensive research and gathering feedback.
