The original design was 196 square feet, but she extended the home to make a room for her daughter, putting the total at 232 square feet.

Do you dream of living in a quaint cottage house with a white picket fence? Downsizing doesn't mean you're forced to give up on that classical fantasy. The Sweet Escape designed by Pratt Homes is designed specifically to reproduce that "Little House on the Prairie" feeling that couples everywhere love. It's a 399 square foot tiny house that can be built on a foundation. Perhaps the most impressive element of the Sweet Escape is its wide-open kitchen with a full oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and loads of counter space and cabinet storage. It's easy to forget this is an actual tiny house once you step inside.

The pitched roof and window placements help maintain a comfortable temperature using passive cooling and heating. You can connect this house to the grid or easily incorporate solar panels to go completely green. On the inside is 616 square feet of space with a single bedroom, a full bathroom with a shower, a washer and dryer, a living room, a kitchen, and a dining area.
The 8x8 Tiny House
An 8x8 tiny house might just be too tiny for some, but if you're single and interested in minimizing your footprint as much as possible, then this is a great option. The small size and simplicity of the design make this an ideal tiny house for first-time builders. The floor plan is flexible enough to accommodate multiple layouts. It has the most important amenities of traditional living, including a kitchen, bedroom loft, bathroom, and living area. Cabinets are integrated strategically to make the most of the space that is available.
The Ash
If you're interested in living in a tiny house as a permanent solution, then you should consider a stationary tiny house with a full basement. The Ash has everything you could want from a dream home, including a dining room, an attic, and a basement. There are 480 square feet of conditioned space with classical 8' foot ceilings. That means no more bumping your head against the ceiling if you're a tall person living in a tiny house. Having access to a full basement and attic increases the storage capacity tremendously. You'll be able to transition to tiny house living without storing your old belongings in an expensive storage facility.
The Meadowview
This is another rustic-style tiny house that is built for people who love being in the outdoors. The indoor area is primarily open with a single bedroom and bathroom enclosed for privacy. This helps the home feel incredibly spacious despite the limited living space. What's most impressive about the Meadowview is the huge deck that wraps around the front and side of the home. It even features a beautiful outdoor fireplace that will surely become a popular gathering spot with friends and family.
The Beachview
Another unique floor plan from Pratt Homes embraces the beauty of nature. While the Meadowview's cabin design is perfect for a spot in the woods the Beachview clearly belongs near the water.
There are several large windows that cover the majority of the walls in the living area. The windows ensure that you always have an impressive view of the sand and water just outside your door. The Beachview is a two-story tiny house with a full staircase that feels like something out of a traditional suburban house. The loft area is completely open and can be used for storage or repurposed into a second bedroom.
The Inspiration
This tiny house strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and comfort. It's 238 square feet and is designed to sit on a standard 20-foot trailer. The floor plan is split between the living room, kitchen, full bath, and an upstairs loft bedroom. The build works well with tight budgets due to its compact nature but still manages to include some unique features like a 42" fiberglass shower, sliding barn doors, and a WiFi-controlled AC unit. The outside design doesn't stand out in terms of creativity but the flexibility and affordability make it a worthy investment.
The Tumbleweed
Pratt Home excels at bringing traditional house designs to tiny house measurements without sacrificing the most important elements. The Tumbleweed somehow manages to include a sheltered porch, a full kitchen with an island, and a large open loft upstairs. If you live alone, then the single downstairs bedroom is all that you need, but the open loft design could easily be repurposed as a second bedroom if you have guests or children. The Tumbleweed includes several windows on each side of the house to provide the best possible view year-round.

Tiny House Floor Plans On Trailers
The Legacy
The creative minds at Tiny Heirloom have produced numerous floor plans that redefine how we see tiny homes while sticking to surprisingly affordable budgets. The Vantage was one of their most beloved models, but they've recently taken things up a notch with an improved version known as The Legacy. This tiny house maintains the same degree of simplicity as The Vantage while improving the overall comfort. This floor plan can sleep a total of four at only 24 feet long and weigh less than 10,000 pounds. It contains all of the essential amenities like plumbing, a water heater, a functioning kitchen, and closed spray foam insulation. This is a great floor plan for people who want a simple build but don't want to sacrifice the comforts of home that they are used to.
Tiny Retirement
Just as the name implies, this is an excellent floor plan for that individual or couple who wants to downsize and retire in style. Choosing to retire in a tiny home is a great idea in terms of affordability. Unfortunately, many tiny homes have the bedroom located in an upstairs loft area. Constantly moving up and down a latter only gets more difficult the older we become. The Tiny Retirement floor plan eliminates this problem by laying the house on a single layer with the bedroom located at one end and the bathroom on the opposite end. Overall, it still feels open and spacious even without a second floor.
HTH 2-Bedroom Tiny House

On the inside are a four-burner stove, an oven, counters and storage space, and an area for a washer/dryer combo. This is an ideal floor plan for couples and the optional bedroom area means you'll have room to spare if the family grows.
